Upgrade Policy
Our Upgrade Policy is different from that of other software vendors because we don't sell on major version numbers. This very popular business model is not good for you as a customer of an constantly evolving product. It would force us to keep improvements and larger bug and useability fixes hidden until enough is done to justify a new major version number on which you have to purchase a new license.
Instead we want to offer you fixes and improvements as soon as they are implemented and stable. So we decided to use a subscription like upgrade policy. From the day you purchase you get all updates during the next 24 month for free. No matter if the major version number increases or not. After this time you can either use the latest update you received as long as you want or extend the upgrade subscription (within 3 month after the end of the previous subscription). The price for this extension, is 60% of the normal product price.
We expect that new Arachno Ruby IDE versions will be publishd every 3 month.
Product delivery note
Arachno Ruby IDE is an electronically delivered activation key that enables the evaluation version of the software to perform as a fully licensed version. Boxed products, discs and printed manuals are not available. Please download and evaluate the suitability of the product before purchasing a license.
